Spring & Summer 2024: Crafting Connection

Join Ashanti Files and Kianah Brooks as they discuss and examine poetic devices and explore techniques and form. Expand connection to self and community to deepen your craft during this dedicated creative writing time.

Writers of all experiences and genres are welcome and encouraged! Workshops are free and drop-in; your RSVP helps us better prepare, thank you! Snacks are always provided and we’ll have some giveaways this Spring too! If you can't attend the entire series, participate at the level you can. Final Wednesday of each month, January-July. Celebratory showcase on July 31 to wrap the series.

Fall 2023: Vulnerable Vision Boards

Artists Ashanti Files and Kianah Brooks will lead you through the creation of a vision board, using it to explore and connect more deeply with your writing throughout the series. The Vulnerable Vision Boards series will focus on poetry and poetics, with different themes and types of poetic craft explored throughout, and tied to the aspirations revealed during vision board creation.
