About Roxanne Doty

Roxanne Doty lives in Tempe, works at ASU, and has taken numerous classes with the Piper Writers Studio. One of her short stories, Turbulence, (Ocotillo Review) was nominated for the 2019 Pushcart prize for short fiction. Her novel, Out Stealing Water, was a finalist in the Autumn House 2019 fiction contest. Other stories and poems have appeared in Forge, I70 Review, Soundings Review, Four Chambers, Lascaux Review, Lunaris Review, Journal of Microliterature, NewVerseNews, Saranac Review, Gateway Review, Reunion-The Dallas Review and Phoenix's The Blue Guitar Magazine. Two other stories were finalists in the 2012 and 2014 New Letters' Alexander Patterson Cappon Prize for Fiction and the editor of Lascaux Review nominated one of her stories for the 2015 Million Writers Award.
