About Michelle Malonzo

Michelle Malonzo is a buyer at Changing Hands Bookstore which has two locations in Arizona. She is on the board of directors of the Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association (MPIBA), is a member of the American Booksellers Association Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and was a 2019 Kirkus Prize Judge for Fiction. Before joining Changing Hands, Michelle worked for nearly 10 years at Penguin Random House, starting out in publicity and corporate communications and finally as an account marketing manager in Penguin's field sales department. She's an Arizona native and reluctant New Yorker who divides her time between Phoenix and Tempe
