About Kelli Donley Williams
Kelli Donley Williams is the author of three novels, all related to her passions for public health and public service: Under the Same Moon, Basket Baby, and Counting Coup. She is the state suicide prevention specialist at AHCCCS. Kelli worked in international health from 2003-2008, spending five years on developing and implementing health programming for women and children in Bolivia, Mexico, Mozambique, and Nicaragua. This included extensive travel and support of community health workers and initiatives in rural communities. Her adventures in these countries is reflected in her novels.
She has a BS in journalism from NAU and a graduate degree in public health from UofA. She was an agroforestry Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon in 2000. Today, she serves on the boards for United Food Bank, the Arizona Public Health Association, and the Phoenix Modern Quilt Guild.
