About Kathy Peach

Achieving dreams is always possible - even big dreams, like becoming a first time college graduate and starting new careers at age when most people think about slowing down. In 2009, “Peach” uprooted her life and moved from her home of 52 years in Middle-Tennessee to Chandler, AZ. She pursued her life-long dreams of earning a college degree and publishing a children’s book.

“I grew up writing stories and hoped that one day I could be a published author. It was during my Children’s Literature class at Chandler-Gilbert Community College that I was introduced to a method of writing quality children’s literature whereby children can believe in a life that holds limitless possibilities. It was through Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University that my first children’s picture book, The Tiniest Tumbleweed, was created.”

Peach graduated Arizona State University in December 2014, with a degree in Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education. “It is my personal conviction that we all have the capability to learn and succeed regardless of life circumstances. The first step is to have confidence in your ability to learn. The second step is to put forth the effort to make it happen. From there, you can be all you are designed to be, and that is “just fine, just fine indeed.”
