About Jeanette Knudsen
Jeanette Knudsen earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science and Professional Certificate in Interior Design. Trained in Universal Design, she served on the ASID National Design for Aging Council, is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and a Certified Living in Place Professional.
She currently serves in the Mesa Design Review Board and has published articles in several magazines including:

Jeanette’s credentials include numerous awards starting with the Designer of Distinction in 2011, three Presidential Citations in 2012, 2013, and 2014, and Design Excellent Award – Aging in Place in 2015.
In 2016 she participated in a nationwide competition sponsored by AARP, AARP Foundations, Home Matters and The Home Depot Foundation. Some of her designs are published in the Toolkit subsequently published by Home Matters.
She specializes in Design for Aging, commonly known as Aging in Place and focuses on adults 45 and older to prepare their homes for their senior years.
