Join the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing and Burton Barr Central Library for a reading and talk with Carmen Maria Machado on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Arizona time on Zoom

Machado will also be teaching a workshop, Stories That Stand Still. More details about the class will be announced soon.

She has been a finalist for the National Book Award and the winner of the Bard Fiction Prize, the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Fiction, the Brooklyn Public Library Literature Prize, the Shirley Jackson Award, and the National Book Critics Circle's John Leonard Prize.
