About Angie Dell
Angie Dell has worked at the Piper Writers House in different capacities since 2010. Before that, Angie earned a BA at Hampshire College in writing and material culture, and both an MFA degree in Creative Writing and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University, where they also worked as Prose Editor for Hayden’s Ferry Review literary journal, and as President of ABBA (A-Buncha-Book-Artists). Angie has also served on the Board of Advisors for ABBA and on the Board and Steering Committee for NonfictioNOW, and was a founding partner in ASU’s Imagination and Climate Futures Initiative. While directing the Piper Center's student fellowship programs, they collaborated with Arizona's National Park Service in hosting a residency program at Wupatki and Walnut Canyon National Monuments, and developed an international residency program featuring local writers, artists, and literary editors and publishers in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taipei. They currently guide development and other special projects at the center.
Angie is the proprietor of Shut Eye Press, and their writing, books, and prints have been featured in journals, collections, libraries, and galleries across the United States and internationally.
