Oxford Literary Festival

March 25, 2017–April 2, 2017

Oxford, England

The Financial Times Oxford Literary Festival welcomes thinkers and writers from across the globe to the city of Oxford for a week of creative and literary engagement.  Arizona State University was the first, and is still the only American University to partner with the Festival!  Due in part to this relationship, the 2014 Festival launched a new program on American literature and culture, which featured some two dozen American speakers among writers and panelists from over 20 countries.  We are proud to continue this tradition, engaging a new round of celebrated American authors each year, and co-sponsoring a special dinner at the Divinity School & historic Bodleian Library.

We invite and encourage the Piper community to come join us at the festival, where we can go on tours of some of England’s most esteemed museums, grab a drink at The Eagle and Child pub, visit the Oxford botanic gardens, take in an afternoon tea, and of course, support our own American authors and the many wonderful featured writers from across the globe!
