About this Event
The ASU Writer’s Craft Conference is a graduate student-run event hosted by the MFA Creative Writing students at Arizona State University in partnership with the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing and Barrett, the Honors College.
The conference is free and open to all students and members of the community interested in honing their skills as creative writers.
In addition to a keynote from award-winning author and Creative Writing Program Director T.M. McNally, this year's sessions include:

- Breaking the Rules: Experimental Poetry with Cheyenne Black
- What Now? Demystifying the Submission Process with Cheyenne Black
- YA Is Not a Genre: An Exploration of Contemporary Young Adult Literature with Charlee Moseley
- Dialogue: The Art of Talking on the Page with Beth Charles
- Forms of Narration with Connor Syrewicz
- Kids Like Weird Things: Narrative Craft and Play for K-12 Educators and Parents with Justin Noga and Maritsa Leyva Martinez
- On Terror, Horror, and Other General Items of Anxiety: Methods of Literary Dread with Warren Glynn

A light breakfast will be provided, and lunch will be provided to the first 100 attendees who check in at the conference.
