Sarah Beth Childers is the author of the memoir-in-essays Shake Terribly the Earth: Stories from an Appalachian Family (Ohio University Press, 2013). Her essays have appeared in journals including Colorado Review, Pank, Brevity, Guernica, and Shenandoah. Sarah Beth was a recipient of the Olive B. O’Connor writing fellowship at Colgate University. She teaches creative nonfiction in the MFA and PhD programs at Oklahoma State University and serves as the nonfiction editor of the Cimarron Review.
