Lenk is a first-ish year MFA student at the University of Washington, with his first first-year of the program completed at the University of South Florida. He writes poetry, a range of fiction, and lyric/hybrid. His work has received prizes and nominations/honorable mentions such as Pushcart, Walter Dean Myers Award, First Pages Prize 2020 shortlist, Bettye Newman Poetry Award, AWP Intro Journals Award, and Best New Poets 2020.
