Federica Santini lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a Professor of Italian and Interdisciplinary Studies at Kennesaw State University, where she coordinates the Gender and Women’s Studies Program. She holds an M.A. in comparative literatures from the University of Siena, Italy, and a Ph.D. in Italian literature from UCLA. A literary critic, poet, and translator, her work has been published in over forty journals and volumes in North America and Europe. Her recent poetry has appeared in The Ocotillo Review, Ember Chasm, Plath Profiles, Iris, and Snapdragon among others.
